The Barbados Bar Association has taken the initiative to recognize and to reward excellence in the study of Law. The Association has two awards which it gives to deserving students annually. The first award is the Association’s prize for the Best Results in Level III, an award given to final year students at the Faculty of Law, University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Barbados. The second award is the Bar Association Prize given to a Barbadian student with the best achievement in the examinations for the Legal Education Certificate at the Hugh Wooding Law School. The Bar wishes to congratulate all the deserving students who received these awards.
BARBADOS BAR ASSOCIATION PRIZE FOR THE BEST RESULTS IN LEVEL THREE (III)
In 1976 the Barbados Bar Association first offered a subject prize of BDS $100 to the student who gains the highest overall average in the final year examinations at the Faculty of Law, Cave Hill Campus. Since then this award was increased to BDS $400 in 1997.
